Finlay London flaunts a POS system as fashionable as its specs

Finlay London began as an online-only and wholesale business back in 2012. Being online-only was proving difficult for a company that sells sunglasses and prescription glasses on the basis that consumers wear their glasses on a daily basis, so it’s important they are confident in their choice of frames. Finlay wanted to offer their customers more than just fashionable specs. They wanted to provide a full service; eye testing, style advice and of course, the ability to try frames on in-store.

In 2017, the eyewear brand made the decision to open physical stores and focus on the direct to consumer side of the business.

Now boasting two beautiful stores in elite London locations, Finlay London believes that when it comes to customer experience, every detail counts. Alice Allsop, Product Manager for the eyewear brand, was focused on securing the perfect point of sale system that was in line with the aesthetics of the store.

Turning to Bouncepad, Alice selected one of our Counter Flex enclosures because it “Covered security, functionality and it fitted in with our modern and homely aesthetic.”

After installing a Bouncepad in their Notting Hill store, Alice told us, “Now we have a Bouncepad in Notting Hill and have seen how well it works. It’s definitely something we’re considering putting in the Soho one as well.”

Our brand-new POS tablet stand, Eddy, launched at just the right time for Finlay London. Alice opted for the Eddy Dark to blend in with the sleek aesthetic of the Soho store.

"Eddy feels like a well-made product which is nice and sturdy. Charging is no issue either because of a little cut out on the base. It has grips to the bottom of the stand which ensures it does not slide all across the desk.” – Darran, Finlay Soho

"The stand was easy to assemble. Good solid base and holds our store iPad with no problems. It swivels really nicely as well - making it easy for us to share the screen with customers when confirming their details or when going through pricing before taking payment.” – Faye, Finlay Soho
